Since 1989, Italian designer Ettore Sottsass has created functional wooden objects for the Alessi catalogue. Reintroduced in new and surprising colours for the Values Collection celebrating Alessi’s centenary, the ES19 Twergi Mills are indispensable objects for the kitchen and are small, colourful sculptures to be used at the table. Made of beech wood with solvent-free paints and a water-based varnish, these mills, which can be used for salt, pepper, or spices, are dedicated to fans of the designer’s iconic “totems”.
